The practice is led by Terrence Aloise, who is a recognized expert in qualitative and quantitative business-to-business research and the development of factually based customer-retention and new-product strategies.

Terry has over 30 years of experience in marketing research and management consulting. He has consulted to senior management of hundreds of institutions in the U.S. and abroad.


Terry began his career in the Marketing Research Department of Manufacturers Hanover after graduating from Fairfield University. Terry was the first market research analyst to complete the Bank's credit training program. In the mid-1980s he established a marketing and planning department for Manufacturers Hanover's Institutional Trust Group. During this period he earned his MBA degree from the University of Connecticut.


In 1988, Terry joined The New York Stock Exchange as its managing director of market planning and business analysis, developing programs for the NYSE's listed companies and prospects. Terry joined R.S. Carmichael & Co. in 1991 and was named Managing Director in 1994. He managed most of RSC&Co.'s customer satisfaction and new product development engagements. He spoke at industry conferences on trade finance, mortgage banking and other subjects, and authored articles for Mortgage Banking and other publications.

Based on his experience, Terry is considered one of the leading advisors to institutions involved in insurance, real estate, mortgage banking, leasing, international trade, asset-based lending, cash management, commercial corporate finance and technology.



The staff's professional scope ranges from new product and business development, process improvement, product management, marketing communications and market research. The interviewing staff is comprised of Research Associates who interview hundreds of senior decision-makers each year.
